Parmesan Cheese with almonds

25/06/2016 By veganisimo Dejar un comentario

This Parmesan cheese with almonds is ideal to spread over our dishes and give them a different flavor and texture. It is very easy to do, all the ingredients are raw. We can keep them in a jar in a kitchen counter for long time and it will be okey for the next time we need to use it, but believe me it is so tasty that you will have to repeat the recipe quite frequently.

As you can see in the picture there are some big pieces of almond, it is because I haven´t got a good blender and I did by hand, if you can do it with a professional blender or a good one, you will get a better and thinner mixture.

The recipe is made in 5 minutes, so it is ideal for pasta and then put it in the oven, it is so easy you can do it anytime and keep it to use it again and again.

If you do your vegan cheese at home it is cheaper than buying them at the shop, and also sometimes is difficult to find cheese in all stores or supermarkets, maybe where you live is even harder to find and the only way to get them is through the internet, so preparing your cheese at home is the best option.

If you don´t find almonds, you can do it with cashews or other nuts because the cheesy taste is given by the yeast. Try with clean nuts, raw and with neutral flavor.
